About 25 ft of row. SH wants some too, should be more than enuf for anyone who wants some. How many ya want? They should be about between golf and tennis ball size. You are quite welcome to as many as you can use. Havent looked but they may well take to blanching/freezing for later use.
Dont go shy on me or the neighbors cows will end up munchin on some of em.

Got a nice stand of carrots also but still a ways to go. Theres another row right next to the kohlrabi that will no doubt benefit from the additional sun once the kohlrabi comes out.

Fall radishes sure do better maturing in the cooler weather than spring ones do in a warmer climate.

I've enjoyed kohlrabi raw sliced thin as a lad. Now those are some dandy radishes. They don't grow them like that in the local grocery. lol
Are those radishes a bit milder than the warm climate ones? Now I'm hungry for a vegie snack. ole Mike

Horseshoer, that is one sweet garden. Brought back memories of my Grandpa Ed. Would work in his garden every night after dinner till dark, whether it needed it or not. Took me alot of years to understand why.

Those greens look great.Like it boiled ,buttered,pepper.Do you ever do a fall crop of broccoli?They kick butt in the fall.Heads the size of footballs.

Thanks and yes I believe so, especially the white icicle ones. I really got an in-yo-face education in planting at the right time and season. Spring radishes do well here but this is the same seed as my spring ones were planted from and they sure do take to maturing in a cooler climate in the fall.

Yeah, took me a while too RC. Grew up with a huge garden on the farm and it was a dreadful job to me as a kid. Age is a strange thing, ya end up coming full circle to some of the stuff you swore at one time you would never touch again. Grew popcorn on the farm & Fri nights after milking & chores, cpl hrs after supper we would watch Lawrence Welk, then Dad would get a few ears of popcorn out and we'd shell em, we'd pop it, then it was watch Mitch Miller & Guy Lombardo-entertainment apex of the week. I still like Lawrence Welk believe it or not, told the ol lady next yr think its time to grow some popcorn!

Do you ever do a fall crop of broccoli?
First time in Virginia right now but think I got it in a tad late cuz unless we have no hard freeze for another month (not likely) it will have to be babysat or let freeze. Back near Houston I had great fall broccoli. Was just talkin to a fellow VA member and he reminded me of how tight a head and how purple they get when they mature in the coolness.

I LOVE it but can't find it in the supermarket most of the time. I like it raw, with salt (I eat cabbage and cabbage hearts that way too)... Eat a raw cabbage heart just before the in-laws come... Couple of hours and they'll leave (so will the wife) :)

Shoer, I sure do like your fall garden. It makes me sad to look at it knowing the the hurricanes ruin my timing to getting mine put in. Thanks for the pictures. I would suppose the the Kohlrabi would have a taste similar to others in the Brassica family. I love cabbage raw and turnips also raw. In fact they're all good including broccoli and cauliflower. I'm jealous.
