The money is not there for him to do what he wants to do. It's going to have to come from somewhere.

What are you on? Don't you have a clue on how basic economics work? If you did, you would have known what has happend recently and would not be making statements like this. Hunky dorey? Are you referring to the price of gas? Gas has dropped back down due to the world market and the collapse of the world economy. Certaind States are already in an official state of recession. Others are on the brink. Expect things to get worse before they start smoothing out. Look for investors to hold their deals and keep their money safe until they see how things will go under Obama. Caution is the key. Things should be a bit tight for awhile. Perhaps Mr. Obama will appoint and work with an actual professional as far as economics are concerned. He will be Pres and I hope he can do good for the Country.

Actually Reaper I'm on theraflu right now, and according to what I've seen basic economics work off fear injected from the top down to induce false problems in order to line the pockets of some, wreak havoc on common folks lives and cause recessions such as the ones you speak of with disregard and no remorse..this country is ate with greed and you can't deny it.Also for me it has smoothed back out at a 1.98 a gal.

Well we are all in this together and there is no doubt about that and we will all suffer the consequences of whatever is put upon us by our elected officials. And they do put a lot upon us whether from direct legislation or the unintentional results of their failures to govern. YES! FAILURE to govern! I feel that we as a country are always reacting to rather than proactively taking the bull by the horns and preventing or avoiding most of the stuff that happens to us. Yes I feel that we had ample warning to deal with the powers that caused 911 but failed to do so. This mess the economy is in need not be quite the mess that it is but for our government failing to regulate and rein in wild lending by our institutions. Truth be known the people we elected to oversee and legislate and regulate on our behalf are simply not doing their jobs. They are just as greedy as the next guy and just out for themselves. This is the kind of stuff that leads a country to revolution. When it is broke you need to fix it. There is no sense of what the common man is experiencing in any of our exceedingly welthy legislators it seems. If they were not so buisy keeping the other guy from passing something then they may get something done as opposed to trying to clean up a mess that grew out of their own neglect.

Yes, failure. It would be sound advice to get real used to that word.

I will try to support the him i only hope he doesnt do what he says he will. I wonder if he will take care of gas for my boat along with my mortgage and gas for my car? It makes me sad to think over 60 million americans give up freedom for a sense of security.
