Give him my best he's in for some fun!!! My son has a week left in boot camp for the Army at Ft. Knox and then he'll stay there to learn how to drive tanks, he just can't figure why everyone is having so many problems adapting and I keep telling him cause you're a military brat you grew up around it.
Make sure to tell him NEVER VOLUNTEER!!!!! LOL

I'm really happy for him and for you. I am aware of what you are going through. I was in the army long ago and was in situations where some people were trying to do me bodily harm. Anyone who has been in those situations understands what it means to be 'concerned' (read scared s---less). But I was in my early 20's and 10 feet tall and bullet proof. You forget quickly then. I never really experienced total fear until my oldest son, who was a Marine sergeant, was in Desert Storm. Thank God it didn't last too long.
You have my prayers for all of you. Young people like him are the pride of this country.

Thanks. Im was a Ranger during the Korean War and things were different. Nowdays if you don't get shot at you cannot return fire. Thats not the way we did it. We did not have time to take names. God will watch over him!!
