Rest in peace, Clem Burke, best known as the drummer for the the rock group "Blondie". He passed on April 6 from a cancer of some sort. He was 70.
I've been looking up his work on YT over the last year as Blondie has long been a favorite group of mine. Super talented musician, he's played with a large number of big name stars over the years. Below is a video of him from a few years ago, taken from an angle most never see. Video is not about the concert going on in front of him but of him pounding out the beat as he has for years. Blondie just won't be the same without him.
Rest easy, Clem, you've earned it.
