I finally got back up that way. On the way back to the truck something crashed in the water. Made one heck of a noise
That is his motion detecting paddle tail beaver skeleton thingie. I hear they are real scary.
I had to walk about 100 yards down the side of the road to get the photo, too much rain for me to want to put the Toyota off in the ditch after dark. A short walk is way better than being stuck. Didn't sound like a beaver. Not sure what it was. Not scary, but I did fing it to be unusual.
