Good deal, BEC. My second jab is tomorrow and like a previous poster I pre-negotiated an ice cream cone afterwards! :biggrin Pfizer and looking forward to getting it done.

Thanks Bob, we have missed church for over a year now and are looking forward to returning to fellowship and hearing God’s word. Maybe some sense of normalcy in our lives although we will still remain vigilant.
Second shot done yesterday afternoon. Arm a little sore, no redness, and I’m around 18 hours in so hopefully no problems. Pfizer. Glad to get it over with.

We and got our one and done JnJ’s yesterday and so far no affects whatsoever, not even any arm soreness. I got a Zilretta injection in my knee last week and a steroid injection in my left hip yesterday prior to the COVID injection. Feeling pretty pain free today! :biggrin
Wow, BEC, You had to feel like a pincushion after all of those shots! That hip shot sounds like a lot worse one than the J&J, but the relief was worth it.
Bob
The hip shot was absolutely painless, just a little stick. I have arthritis in both hips and both knees among other places and the injections keep me going!
Got my 2nd dose of Moderna on Tuesday. Arm was never sore at all but did wake up that night in a cold sweat. Didn't sleep well that night & felt wore out all the next day. But can't say it was the shot itself or just lack of sleep. Never felt sick at all.
Good to get it over with, KYC. Sounds like you might have had a small reaction, but I think worth it. I envision getting these every year like the flu shot.
Bob
Most of the folks at work taking thr J&J vaccine have had a reaction to it. Latest was a buddy of mine. He got it last night. I texted him at 6 am. No issues. He texted me at 9 am said he had flulike symptoms. The majority of folks in my department have had stuff ranging from chills, aches and pains, chest tightness, low grade fevers, or extreme fatigue. One of the younger guys said "it felt like I ran a marathon, did a power lifting competition, and played 4 qtrs of football both ways all in the same day".
Yes, the J&J has had a mixed result. My young neighbor next door is a teacher and she had a rotten 24 hours with J&J, then fine. I have spoken to others, and also comments on the site no problems. Maybe some of the folks were asymptomatic and if you have had Covid you can get a reaction. I’m just happy to be done.
