22Gen-8-22 While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

This is a promise given to Noah and us. I am not saying we should not be good stewards of what God has blessed us with, that too, is taught in the bible,
but mankind takes upon themselves an authority of things that we are not in control of, the weather/ climate. God will decide when it ends, not us.

I made a living in the oil industry and have seen things done in the name of the all mighty dollar,
but there have to be a balance between people being able to make a living and the environment

And as far as scientist goes, just look at the Covid debacle, "follow the science"
