None of you probably know, but I'm a boxing aficionado from way back. I use to go to the "Golden Gloves" events at our local Boy's Club back in the 70's, with my two brothers. My dad got me interested in boxing during the up & coming years of Ali.

Not sure if you've seen the movie in my post's title or not, but it's really good. (It was on Epix.) Sort of a semi-documentary featuring the life & times of the great George Foreman. With Ali, Fraser, Hollifield and others commentating.

Since the 80's & 90's, boxing has never been the same. No more heroes in the sport anymore. I watch a lot of boxing even today and no one "stands out" the way these old time boxers did. The boxers today couldn't hold a candle to those greats. Funny thing was, I always wanted to see Foreman take on Mike Tyson. I sincerely believe Foreman would have prevailed!

Now you know my second passion to crappie fishing!

Have a happy and safe Memorial Day Holiday Folks! God Bless.
