Morel Mushrooms

Found one Monday here in mid Tenn, Got to go back and check again. Just wanted to let everyone know that they are popping up.

My wife and I love mushrooms but I never learned to go out and find them. I was always taught that if you didn't know how or what you were doing for sure to pick them they could be poison. So we just buy our mushrooms. Must be nice to just go out and get the fresh ones for sure.

Been picking them sense I was a boy at the old homeplace. Its really fun, almost reminds me of hunting easter eggs as a child. They are really good soaked in salt water for a few hours then put in a skillet with butter.
