    I hope it is not heavy because the only .45 I ever owned, a Springfield Compact Carry .45 I won at a Friends of NRA event, would have been more dangerous in my hands with me throwing it at somebody rather than shooting at them. Seriously, at 25 feet I was so off-target that I wouldn't have been dangerous. Never did figure out why I was so terrible shooting that gun. Traded it for a 9MM and a .22 target gun for my wife.
