Prayers sent for Daisy. I know how it is, I love my Abbey.

Just as an FYI, we really should not use this site to solicit donations for personal reasons, but I'll let this go for Smoothlures cause he's been a member for so long, and I'm such a dog lover. Best of luck with everything.

    Thank you so very much!!!

Daisy is doing as good as she could be! She has had a wonderful reaction to the steroids and Dr. Knight's treatment. She is able to stand some and walk very little today, with a little assistance under her belly so she doesn't fall. The vet took the IVs out and she is still on the steroids and some pain meds. She is going to have to stay until Thursday at least and the bill is getting larger. If any of you can share or contribute, it is greatly appreciated more than you could know! I have had some ask for my vet's info before they donate to check into it, you may check out their website here and I'm sure they will return your call ASAP as they do not have a full staff. Update for all concerned:
We have reached over 50% of our GoFundMe goal!

Daisy developed a stomach ulcer from the strong medications she was on. Her vet is treating the ulcer right now and plan to put her back on steroids once healed. She is still in great spirits and hasn't given up despite being hospitalized at the vet more than at home. I have been lucky to spend a few days with her and a few very long nights.

It's been a very long, exhausting road. We are still praying for the best!!! I thank you all!
