Well, I went in for my knee replacement this past Tuesday and came home Wednesday morning. The surgeon said that my old knee was "complete junk". Surgery took about an hour. Had my first therapy session this morning and it wasn't too bad. In fact, I am having less pain now, than I had with my old worn out knee. Can't bend it much or support all my weight on it yet, but the therapist said that will come in time and therapy. I put off doing this for a long time because of fear etc. But I was at the point of not being able to do much of anything because of the constant pain. I can tell already that this will be a game changer for me. If any of you need a knee replacement, but are putting it off, my advice would be to "git 'er done".
