facial itch question

I am trying to find something to help my wife with her facial itch. I am almost sure it is a dermatitis caused by an equipment disinfectant she comes in contact with regularly at work. This itch is really causing her a lot of stress. Here are some of the things she has tried to help the itch but none of it seems to work. Have any of you ever experienced something similar and if so what worked to help with the itch. Sarna anti itch lotion, benedryl cream, benedryl pills, selson blue, lidocaine, tooth paste, head and shoulders, vaseline, and herpecin L.

They make a barrier cream to put on your hands, something like that may work. Seems like stopping it before the irritation starts would be better than treating the symptoms. Just my thoughts

I had a rash pop out on my face years ago and ended up with a prescription cream for it called Diprolene. May not still make it, but it had cortisone in it and she may need something similar. Halog was another stronger cream for poison ivy rash. Both were prescription creams, so her doctor should be able to prescribe something for it.

She needs to get a copy of the MSDS (material safety data sheet) on the disinfectant from her employer. This will tell you much about the disinfectant and the possible hazards and side effects involved in exposure when working with it. That may help you in figuring out a possible solution.

crappiewisdom I have researched the the disinfectant and that is why I think it is what is causing the issue.
