Default Coastal fishing for more than brim and Crappie

Started this over here cause its sure off topic from Crappie and brim fishing but does anyone use their boat for more than brim, crappie, and bass fishing.

Sold the offshore boat and we moved back to the Triton Bass boat but i'm really wanting to try flounder fishing using the crappie rod set up I built. Run two off the front and two off the rear. After all the types of fishing offshore I enjoyed the striper fishing more than anything that is limited to 3 miles out and i'm going to try that next year in the bass boat. Might have to get VA license, not sure about getting out at Orgen inlet as rough as it is but I don't see a issue with fishing in 2 to 3 foot seas with a inshore boat.

Just wondering if any of you guys switch over that live in the coastal area's and fish for reds and flounder during summer in the hotter weather.
    Thanks.

I fish for catfish once and a while. Don't know much about flounder. My uncle Bubba had a mule he said got floundered once. It got better and he traded it off.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

    HAHA

Think I'll stick to the crappie questions on this forum.
