I grew up (never did according to my wife)in the 60s and early 70s to what is now called "Classic Rock" music. I attended many concerts in my time and remember much of most of them. My wife and I became fans of Trans Siberian Orchestra in the last decade. The are pretty unique in that the bulk of their music library is re-arrangements of classic Christmas carols we old folks grew up with, set to rock music. They also put on one heck of a show live with some of the most innovative visuals I have ever seen. This was probably our 12th time to see them live and we both came away very impressed. These pics are from their show Sunday afternoon in Nashville. They played a matinee show that lasted 2 1/2 hours, had a 1 hour break then another show. They earn their money and their typical audience consists of families with kids to senior citizens much older than my wife and I. They also donate $1 from each ticket sold to local children's charities in the cities they play in. There are many references to Christ and a tribute to our Armed Forces during their shows. Clean fun for the whole family.
