Manziel and cam made a fool outa them..... That's some funny stuff. We put these athletes on a pedestal starting in high school and when they do something wrong , we slap them on the hand and turn our back. Then we wonder why they act like thugs, there is no repercussions for there actions. Sad

Stars make the NCAA money. They ain't gonna do much to them. I'm glad he's playing. One of the most fun athletes to watch, ever. His character may be lacking, but I'm not there and don't know the whole situation.

At least Alabama will have a chance to redeem themselves after last year. It should be a dandy game. I betcha Sabin already has a plan.

The deal about Manziel is hype. So what if he signed a bunch of autographs, he deserves it - we all would too if we were in his shoes. Everyone who is jealous is assuming he received money for it. He represents college football well. Not a bunch of punk tattoos, pierced earrings, or flowing dreadlocks from that American boy. He is fun to watch because he is an excellent athlete, not a show boat.

Of course Sabin has a plan. I'm sure he worked hard all Spring and late Summer for it. That's to be expected after the biggest bully in block being whipped in his own back yard. Interesting that bama has a bye the week before playing A&M. Also interesting is that the only other contender to them is LSU, who they also have a bye the week before. That's funny right there! That's all he's done all summer is Show Boat. I done think he's going be as lucky this year on the field. JMHO

There is no ryme or reason to anything the NCAA does, they are a joke. Try being a UK fan, they have had the hammer dropped over the last few years on many players who have done tons less than Johnny football. Or look at North Carolina, or Duke is the past year who walked away with no punishment what so ever. The NCAA will be a thing of the past in the next 5 years or so, and all universities will be independent.

I'll admit Bama S, Johnny is a privileged brat in many ways, and always has been. He did have the advantage of going to special, and expensive, quarterback camps while in high school. At least he is clean cut and not a punk. And, an excellent athlete you have to admit. I don't follow pro football any more because of the Hollywood attitude some of the players have. I turned it all off a few years ago after seeing Terrell Owens too many times. He made me puke. Too many folks like him as well.

As far as the NCAA, there's too much politics in it. That's due the amount of money involved, more than most realize - big business. Huge business in fact, which is unfortunate somewhat. I'm glad the BCS rating/series is going away - that is a joke. Conferences like the SEC will still have their way though.
