Get you a dead mouse and tie a string onto its tail. Hang the string over the edge of the boat. When the snake eats the mouse, pull him out..

Put some ammonia in a sprayer and spray it in the compartments, under the floor, etc. close the lids and the snake will find a way out! They can't stand ammonia

Flood him out, or smoke him out ... or call your local Wildlife Dept & see if they have a "extraction" team.

If you can see the head ... and it's long & slender, it's not poisonous & could be any number of species of snake (Brown Snake, DeKay's Snake, Water Snake, etc). BUT >... if the head is triangular shaped, then it's likely a pit viper & poisonous.

Just put the plug in the boat and fill the bilge area with water with bleach in it. Leave the lids open and he will find his way out---quickly.

Most of you guys would not want to be around my taxidermy studio, day or night. It is located in one of the most densely populated areas for cottonmouths in the country. I deal with them almost weekly and find them to be very docile, non-threatening if left alone. I watched my 5 month old female lab pup step all over one last week and it never threatened to bite her. Doubt that scenario would happen again but I saw it with my own eyes. The cottonmouth now resides in one of my freezers until I decide to mount it for display.

I would like to live in Maine.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.
