Doomdays prepping anyone?

After reading Crappiefarmers thread on " The mess we are in " it only re-enforces the gut feeling I have been experiencing for about a year now. I have ZERO faith in those azz clowns we call servants of the people. I hope there is enough time for me to prepare for me and the girls to have some things if or when all heck breaks loose. I have been purchasing items, foods and such for long term storage.
Anyone else in here stocking up?

I still hold faith that the greater American people will step forward in a crisis and boot those out who don't want to uphold the spirit, integrity, and want of freedom that America was built on. I really believe our military people, who will hold the biggest stick, are more conservative than liberal or progressive. I guess other nations people thought the same thing though.

I know, I knew it was coming within 25 years in 08, it seems the last five years things have been put on fast track. I still think we have some time, hopefully.

Well that is what I hope for. There are mounds of scripture the rapture will occur pre-tribulation, after three and a half years of peace. And there are mounds of scripture saying we will experience the Tribulation, the last three and a half years. Thats when it will go to heck.
I always looked at it this way. I don't think we are so special in Gods eyes, considering what he allowed to happen to the Apple of his eye for centuries.

The American people had a golden opportunity on November 6, 2012, and they failed. (Well, about 52% failed.)

Having been raised mostly in the country, knowing the meaning of conserving and not wasteing, kind of a natural thing to be a saver and conserver of
the important things that will stave off ugly things that can happen to those unprepeared. Never joined the boy scouts, but went into the Navy at 17
and learned the importance of preparation in other ways. Put it all together and it adds up to "staying ready to keep from having to get ready". Been
ready ever since. Too old to fight or run, so have to be prepared to stand my ground with my chosen tools. Store lots of honey.

I was listening to NPR this morning, and this fellow was sayin, ya want freedom, blood has to be shed, that's just the way it is ..........
We revolted against England to win our freedom from the king...
Ain't no-where to run now, we gonna have to fight to gain our freedom again, like in the Arab countries, but they're too stupid to form an honest gov.
Is there such a thing as an honest gov ?? It's a consuming monster that cannot ever be satisified, always wanting/needing more, and more, and more, till ya got to just kill the thing
and start over .....

I spent every day on a quiet lake fishing, we I go home, I leave the TV off and play games on the computer.
