    Default Good and bad

With the economy being as it is my wife has taken a second job, I have 4!

So most sundays when i fish the most i try to be off the water by noon so we can spend time together. But her new job will make her work evenings and every sunday so it looks like more boat time for me. Be truthfull i would rather spend time with my wife but like a few hard working Americans we must do what ever it takes to stay ahead of our current resident in the "White house" what an oximorron that is.! LOL

Glad you're still working and the opportunities are still there. Fish when you can, work when you have to, and give thanks you can still do both.

We do appreiciate what we have and we both work darn hard to keep it.Its the added on expenses that are imposed on all of us is what makes me crazy.
this time of year when people who dont do all they can get their tax refund checks and act like high rollers untill its gone and then they are back at the hand out office looking for more or food pantries give aways!

i guess its easy to tell I'm an NRA supporter and a proud Repubican conservative. I believe in free enterprize and a strong work ethic by choice. the choice the 51 % to support a welfare state to me just shows the laziness our society has become

elfros, your attitude is in the right place. Hang in there and remember.....when you do retire, what you've earned should be all yours. It's worth fighting for
too. Keep a positive attitude and when the opportuntiy presents itself, share quality time with the wife and enjoy every moment of every day. Your only
young once in your lifetime, enjoy.

    more good and bad

good- my wife has accepted a good job that will provide benefits and matching 401

bad- my best employee just informed me he was leaving for another job so that means more work and less play for me

Yep, give thanks you can still do both. I've taken a year or two/three off from fishing before when demands and changes in our circumstance meant I needed to.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

And when you do retire, I believe you only get around $1200 a month, regardless of how much you made over your lifetime (not sure bout that).
So = stach back all ya can while ya can ..............
Remember, people who manage your money for you do nothing but sit around all day long trying to figure out how to get more of your money ....
I took the dog to the vet the other day, looking through the little window in the exam room I could see another room where they had shelves
of drugs for their patients. Dog toenail clipping = $14.00 = took five minutes at most with a rotory sander tool, and, got some pills for itch.
Then, when I get the bill, I got a $2.00 pharmacy charge, Huh ???????
I bought a couple of fish sandwiches at Windy's today, told the lady I wanted everything on em = extra 40 cents pr sandwich for condiments .....
    They're everywhere ! ! ! And they're all out to get us ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

In refrence to my above comments = It's not the total amount that bothers me, it's the deceptive greed that irks me .........
