Penrod 72 in the Gulf of Mexico. As a directional driller at the time paying my dues, I had some down time during a logging run. A pretty geologist was in the galley all by herself taking a break while out there for that specific logging run. I told my helper - "I am going to hit on that". I did. The rest is history .

1984, I was working in Seattle for 5 weeks, she was the counter girl in the coffee shop where we got our break stuff. Hardly spoke to her other than to order the entire time I was there. 2 days before we left, she asked me about our work, we exchanged address's and wrote back and forth over the winter. I took a vacation week back to Seattle in April of 85, she moved out here and in with me in June of 85, married in 86. God bless her for putting up with me for more than 26 years, so far.

My first wife and, I were happy for ten years, so I thought. My current wife and, I have been happy for 11 years. I'm ten years older than her. So I got a head start on her, so I think. I have 4 daughters, 2 from each wife. I will never see retirement but, I aint got it all that bad, There's tougher lifes I could have had. Sometimes we live hand to mouth but, there are those who go without. I have the sunshine and, a few good friends I have found. A roof to give me shelter when the rain comes down. I have tomorrow and, the promise that it brings.
I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin' and hook up with them later.

In April 1964 hired on with the G.C.& S.F. RR, short little PBX operator caught my eye while I was doing my apprenticeship as a Train Order & Telegrapher
Operator. Radioman in the Navy and knew morse code. Joined company bowling league and we started speaking and after 6 months of dating, we agreed
we were destined to journey through life together. We are still on that journey. Best thing to ever happen to me, well........except for the 3.5 lb. crappie.
