My last wife and I were happy for 20 years.
Then we met.

Whoo Buddy. I went almost 18 years in between women. I don't know if I forgot how to act or never did in the first place. All I know is I am in charge of 60 to 80 people everyday. But, when I go home I get plumb stupid.

We met in a singles department at church. I needed some answers I thought I could find there. I wasn't looking for her; but, she sure found me.

I was at my buddies house while he was trying to get a date. When he hung up he said I needed to go home and change. I said "why?". He had asked the girl out, But she said she had plans with her best friend. So I met Vonna on a blind date. Dated for almost 4 years with part of the time being in 2 different states.
Next month will be our 25th Anniversary. She is my catch of a lifetime!

Believe it or not...

It's not near that good of a story, but ten years later we did go out a few times and ended up dating for about five years before I swindled her into it. She's only 5 years older, and I was chasing cougars when they were still kittens. So, she's right up my alley.

She puts up with an avid outdoorsman and very "needy" individual...I could never put my wife down, because that would sure make me feel like an idiot to marry her. She's awesome.

Now, if she ever leave's me...it'll be a different story.

Met Crappie 2 (Sandy) on the internet, we will be married 2 years in June. I've been blessed, the last 2 were and are great wives and both love to fish. The first wife? She didn't like anything. The wife and I met in late Feb 1971, on a blind date, at Tyndall AFB Fla, as we both were serving in the AF. In July that year we got married, and have been together ever since, and she also fishes, so that is a plus. July will be 42 years together.
