Then you must feel this Country is doing just fine. It's a shame we've lost so much and stand to lose it all. Shall I call you comrad?

Call me comrad if you want. All I am saying is that the flag should not be used in the manner depicted to make stupid political statements. NO, the country is NOT doing fine, it is in distress and the sad thing about is is that we keep sending the same stupid people to D.C. When we stop doing that then we may begin to see change. YES, we do stand to lose it all and probably will as long as we send imbiciles to Washington. I fought for this flag, my dad died for it (WWII), the lineage of my family has been traced to the very beginning of this country with an ancestor being found that was at Valley Forge. So, call me comrad if you want but I will not be quiet in defending the flag and it's proper way of being displayed.
Just curious. So it's wrong for someone who feels the Country is already in distress to show their feelings in their flag? Am in agreement about the imbiciles. I wish it could turn around.
Very disrespectful.
We recently had a teacher fired when he stomped on the flag to make a point in class. Mixed reactions over his firing here. Most all agree it was poor judgment, but apparently he is an excellent teacher and some feel firing was too harsh. Still being debated.
