The ole lady was cleaning out the spare bedroom and found this device....
Asked me what it was = never seen one before.
Shaft is 3/16th's thick, 6 1/2 in long.....
Looks like some kind of needle for sticking through something, grabbing string and
pulling back through, all I can think of is something akin to saddle making (thick leather) ....
Thought I'd throw it at you guys and see if ya'll might know ...........................

With the wisdom I have acquired I can tell you that any 3 yr old would tell you that it is for blowing bubbles..........POP.......

Hmmmm..... It's been manufactured, made by a machine = not hand made, etc, etc ..........

I found this modern day one = pretty similar....
