Yea, I got into one on craigslist. A camper, looked great for the money. I replied through email. They wanted 50% down, ebay guaranty, 50% 10 days after delivery. I asked where the camper was for inspection before the sale. Ebay has it at their lot. 2 replies from them and one from ebay. The ebay letter didn't have any links on it. I went into ebay, the letter head was different than the email. I linked on sales. Only ebay sales have a guaranty. Craigslist was named in the list of ones that aren't.

Best rule of thumb on Craigslist is if there's no phone number.....pass. Too many spammers and email harvesters there, on top of the scammers. I don't know why thy don't ban 'em from posting.
