Default Doctors -vs- Gun Owners Accidental Deaths

Take action now before it's too late!

    I love statistics!

    (A) The number of physicians in the U.S. is 700,000.

    (B) Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year are 120,000.

    (C) Accidental deaths per physician is 0.171

Statistics courtesy of U.S. Dept of Health and Human Services.

    Now think about this:
    Guns

    (A) The number of gun owners in the U.S. is 80,000,000. (Yes, that's 80
    million)

    (B) The number of accidental gun deaths per year, all age groups, is 1,500.

    (C) The number of accidental deaths per gun owner is .0000188

    Statistics courtesy of the FBI

So statistically, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than
    gun owners.

Remember, Guns don't kill people, doctors do!!!

FACT: NOT EVERYONE HAS A GUN, BUT Almost everyone has at least one doctor.
This means you are over 9,000 times more likely to be killed by a doctor
than as by a gun owner!!!

Now if you have more than one doctor, you're just out of luck!!!

Please alert your friends to this alarming threat.
We must ban doctors before this gets completely out of hand!!!!!

Out of concern for the public at large, The statistics on
Lawyers has been withheld for fear the shock would cause people to panic and seek medical attention!

Hospitals ain't too safe either. Wiki

A nosocomial infection, also known as a hospital-acquired infection or HAI, is an infection whose development is favoured by a hospital environment, such as one acquired by a patient during a hospital visit or one developing among hospital staff. Such infections include fungal and bacterial infections and are aggravated by the reduced resistance of individual patients.

In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention estimated roughly 1.7 million hospital-associated infections, from all types of microorganisms, including bacteria, combined, cause or contribute to 99,000 deaths each year

Well, think of it as shining the light on facts.

How many hospitals in the United States?

Answer: According to the AHA there are approx 5,815 Registered Hospitals in the US.

Good kill ratio @ about 20 per day. Call MSNBC. That tickle up Chrissie's leg might be infectious.

The problem with the guns is not the accidental deaths but the intentionally committed deaths with guns.

Local rumor has it that a local hospital in this area is a great place to get a staph infection, a strain that is extremely difficult if not impossible to cure. Wife and I have an agreement, in the event of some medical emergency, under NO circumstances would we allow the other to be taken to this local hospital. Reminds me of that saying about the roach motel, "you check in but you don't check out".
