That was easy, so Staples says. I was under the impression that incandescent type bulbs were vacuum sealed. So how can it have a leak and keep burning? Been waiting 2 years.

light bulb is not "full" of water, but agree it won't work when the h2o reaches the filaments.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
put it on a gfci.
Don't touch it while its on!. Turn it off and drain water out weep holes in Edison base. (screw part). They are designed this way to let condensation to escape.
