I have a pair of outside flood lights that the lens came off. There is a bulb within the "flood light".
That's right. The outer part is just a reflector. But if the water gets to the inner "bulb" it will blow. Squirt a light bulb with a water gun while its on and see what happens.Quote:

The lamp has a protected bulb inside of itself. Don't change brrakers out if they are not gfci type. Outlets are the only thing that needed to be gfci protected. If you already have a gfci outlet protecting all the outlets, putting a gfci breaker will create problems. For me bigger concern you be to make sure you have a ground rod at the dock attached to the panel for the dock.
