I stopped at my local bank today and mentioned the (no firearms allowed on premises sign) to the bank teller,A young lady just starting a family. Her reply was,,That is one of the dumbest thing I have ever saw,a robber can bring any kind of firearm into a bank but an honest person with a legal concealed carry permit has to leave theirs at home,,That sign is not going to protect anyone here.she said that a person with a concealed carry gun is not what we are concerned about. Its those crooks and lawbreakers that we have to worry about, that sign is not going to protect anyone from that,,But who is going to listen to us?? Plus a few other remarks that I can't post

I actually stand corrected in this situation, saw a video some time back and was under the impression that an assault weapon and an assault rifle were the same thing and was defined as a fully automatic weapon... Am not and have never been a gun enthusiast, shotguns, hunting rifles and handguns are the only guns I ever owned or had a desire to own.... Some of us were described as 'fudds' I believe the term was and am not sure if that was meant as an insult or not but if the shoe fits I'll have to wear it... It does not however change my opinion that some of you guys add a lot of strain in your lives by your need to be in the self defense mode all the time and believe your paranoia is not good for your health in the long run.
Hillbilly-Ask to be shown which State or Federal Law prohibits it, then when they can't produce one, ask if they would like you to find a new Bank.

I'm not really sure whether or not you believe our voting privileges are the only defense against a suppressive government, if you do not then maybe the original concept of our country isn't exactly your cup of tea either... I believe anybody that is concerned about the direction our country goes votes.
I'm not really sure you think voting is the same now as it was when this Country was formed, and that the gov we have now isn't "suppressive".
You're TOTALLY confused in comparing what we have today in relationship to the "original concept" you mentioned.
Please refer back to head in sand pic.............
I bet you don't see a problem with needing a background check to purchase a gun but not to vote?
