Father God I am so thankful that when unthinkable evil like the shooting in Connecticut occurs I can turn to you for strength. I cannot imagine how someone could do such a twisted thing to people, especially the innocent children. I ask that you give the families and friends of everyone affected by this malicious act strength, peace, and especially forgiveness when so much is required. It will be unbelievably difficult for those who lost their children to work through the pain and loss of this mindless act of violence. I pray that everyone who calls Jesus their Lord will hit their knees and ask you to intervene with your divine grace. Amen.
