however my hearts still aches for those babies, parents, first responders. My wife is constantly talking about it. All the hatred in the news about guns. I don't know what needs to be done. TV, video games, mental problems, gang music has to contribute to this somewhat.
Hell our president partied with those idiots that sang about killing cops, they apologize now everything is ok.
Well I'm glad at least someone with a level head in the media is talking.David Kopel: Guns, Mental Illness and Newtown - WSJ.com

At my age now , looking back over the last fifty years when I was a small child I can remember the society we lived in with the moral values and respect that was taught from an early age, the society we live in today has go, is going down hill very fast. There are many things that contribute to the tragedys that we wittness today with many inocent people suffering and I really don't think changing gun laws will stop anything. I can remember just a few things that I think have changed for this past generation that might have made a difference. 1. We took prayer out of schools.2. We stopped corporal punishment in schools and at home, 3. We quit teaching children to have respect for others and just for life itself. 4. Parents rely to much on others raising their children because of both having to work. The list can go on but you see what I'm getting at. The number one reason in my personal opinion is that we as a society have taken God out of our leadershio of this country and I honestly believe that until we return to God that it does not matter how many laws you change , without God there is nothing good to become of us and the innocent will continue to suffer and our president will continue to make speeches saying this must stop. If he only knew what it would take he might be on his knees at night and go back to the basics this country was founded on asking God for forgiveness . This horrible tragedy that killed all these poor innocent children and left so many parents in unimaginable grief , has everyone searching for the reason why, why did this happen. The answer is not that hard to see if one would just go back fifty years and take a look at the road this country has been following. I have four Grandchildren In PNG as missionaries that I cannot hug and this tragedy has made it very hard for me just wanting to see them, I can not imagine what those poor parents are going through.

I think a lot of it started back when slapping the snot out of a misbahaving child turned into a "time out". The beginning of disipline lost has now snowballed into a couple of generations of immorallity and no respect.

Amen brother you said a mouth full. Just to much GOVERNMENT trying to raise our children at our expense. At this point and time seams like the only fix would be go back to the wild wild west days where everyone wore there side arms.
You Just Can't Fix Stupid !!!!!!
