    I was telling my wife last night that I am going to do the same thing this weekend. It must be the cooler weather we've been having.

    Made some Shrimp and Crappie Etouffee last night. Didn't set on the table long enough to get a picture though.

    If ya ask you grocery store to get ya some Zatarains Gombo Mix it will suffice. Not as good as homemade but is very much edible and can cure a hankering fer ya.

    This weather is great compared to a few weeks ago-ugh! The next real good good gumbo ill get to eat will be in October at squirrel camp.......hopefully....it taste way better when you eat it beside the creek..........just saying
