Default The rules of a gunfight

Some words to the wise. Shooting Advice from various Concealed Carry Instructors. If you own a gun, you will appreciate this. If not, you should get one and learn how to use it:

A: Guns have only two enemies - rust and politicians.

B: It's always better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

C: Cops carry guns to protect themselves, not you.

D: Never let someone or something that threatens you get inside arms length.

E: Never say "I've got a gun." If you need to use deadly force, the first sound they hear should be the safety clicking off.

F: The average response time of a 911 call is 23 minutes, the response time of a .357 is 1400 feet per second.

G: The most important rule in a gunfight is: Always win - cheat if necessary.

H: Make your attacker advance through a wall of bullets . . . You may get killed with your own gun, but he'll have to beat you to death with it, cause it'll be empty.

If you're in a gun fight:
    1. If you're not shooting, you should be loading.
    2. If you're not loading, you should be movin,
    3. If you're not movin', you're dead.

J: In a life and death situation, do something . . . It may be wrong, but do something!

K: If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you have a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

L: You can say 'stop' or 'alto' or any other word, but a large bore muzzle pointed at someone's head is pretty much a universal language.

M: Forget the save the planet nonsense, it doesn't need saving, but you may be able to save yourself and your family.

If you believe in the 2nd Amendment, please forward.

Lets see, possibly a very long time in prison, knowing there are no witnesses, though he does have cuts and bruises to show that he was getting his azz whipped. Or, thinking to myself here, death; I choose death.
Would Zimmerman have confronted Martin if he wasn't packing? I'd say he would have not made his presense known to Martin, but would have followed him in privy. When you are packing, one can afford to be a little more open. Sure, he did not know Martin was packing. I'm not saying Zimmerman is wrong here, I'm saying I think it could have been avoided.

I don't think I could convict Zimmerman if I were on the Jury. I know I could have taken more of an azz whipping than he took before busting a cap on someone.

Your overlooking the most important detail: When he called in to report Martin in the area the dispatcher told him not to get out of his car that the police was on the way and they would handle it. When he got out of his car, he became the aggressor. That fact along takes away any stupid law. (stand your ground). Also he wasn't to be carrying a weapon when he was on patrol for the neighborhood watch. EB

Why would he not carry a gun on patrol, he has a legal right to do so. He was already out of the car in persuit and was told to stop. He said he stopped and Martin confronted him on his way back to the car.

If Martin had a cell phone, why didn't he call the police stating some is following him? This makes Martin the agressor. We will never know the truth....no witnesses.....Zimmerman should walk. He is a dumbazz for allowing it to get this far. Now look at his dumbbutt, I beat he wishes he could roll back time.

We need stand your ground laws...for mainly these reasons....let say Beave is walking down the street and confronted, I have seen pictures of you, you couldn't bust a grape, you can't fight, so you better wave a gun and hope the sucker leaves. Some are just to old to fight.
A young man walking down the street with his two babies...see where I'm going with this...yeah,we need stand your ground laws.....the best weapon we have is our brains...someone said that in here...if you use it, everybody goes home

Curious?? Are you basing this statement after reading the filed police reports in person or after watching or reading what the media has scrambled?? Amazing to me that people that live hundreds of miles away can pass judgement on something based off media reporting. I live about 10 miles from the site of the shooting and still can not figure out exactly what happened. There are too many stories and different scenarios playing out. And that is the first I have heard he called 911 from inside his car.
Like I said before re read rule B
And I am not dis agreeing with the fact he was an idiot. But I will let our disfunctional Judicial system play out, it is still better than any other countries system.
