    Default Mice repellant

The best mice repellant I have seen is Irish Spring soap. They cant stand it. I cut it in about an inch and a half squares and put it where my plumbing and electrical comes in my RV. I put in the cabinets, storage, etc. My RV has been parked at Toledo Bend for almost 5 years. No sign of the first mouse. I keep food in it year round. I believe it it keeps the wood roaches away also. We are surrounded by the Sabine National Forest, so there are plenty of critters. We have not had the first snake pay us a visit either. I put out fresh soap every 3 months or so. It works.

I will give this a try! We have mice something terrible in our shed so I will put some in there and see how it works. Might put some in the camper too just in case.
    Thanks for the tip!

Thanks. A friend of mine bought a ton of rice bran and it didnt take long for the rats and mice to find it. They would run you outta there! I told him about it, he tried it, and called me a day or two later and said the rats were history! Another friend bought an old abandoned camp house on the Sabine River. It was infested. Rat feces, snake skins, roches, you name it. I turned him on to it, and he had the same results. It made me think if the small rodents cant stand the smell of it, I definately dont use it if I am hunting or fishing.

Have to disagree. Had some in the vanity and a mouse was eating it.

I definately have not had that happen. I have had the opposite results. The original Irish Spring has kept them away for years.

I made one of these last year out of parts I found in my basement. It took about 20 minutes to make. It's a mouse eating machine that gets every last one of them and continues to guard and kill. A "fire and forget weapon".

Bucket trap. Bait the can with peanut butter.

Hey Bak2, it looks like you did suceed in building a better mouse trap. I agree with RR that thing is awesome.
