Default Here's pics of my " RV"

Which is really what I call "home". I've lived in it for the past 2 years (this month to be exact). Built for Boondocking (dry camping) or the Zombie Apocalypse. I can hold nearly 200 gallons of fresh water (but only haul 75 gal, which lasts a month), generate my own electricity (PV Solar and 3500watt gen), solar water heater, 30" 1 piece fiberglass shower stall, no exposed tanks/plumbing (all inside) so I can (and have) parked in well below freezing temps (wood stove can keep it 90 degrees when it's zero out if I want). I also use a composting toilet, so not tied to a dump station to dump a black tank (since I don't even have one). Got tons of pics if there's anything specific anyone would like to see, just ask.

Yes, those are Security Cameras on the roof , and I have a hidden alarm system as well.

1993 International Chassis, 360DTA, Allison 545 Automatic Transmission. Had 60,000 original miles on it when I got it. Oh, I raised the roof 18", and insulated the heck out of it all the way around, so well in fact I can cool it with a 5,000btu air conditioner.

I've had to buy a trailer for surplus stuff, as well as to haul my Scooter around with me.

Thumbs up That is one great RV

I hope Billbob will look at your post. You did an excellent job. I'm not too far from TN. Have fished Watts Bar and the Chick many times. I would really like to see the RV up close.

The neatest RV I have ever seen.Thumbs UpThumbs Up

The fun that can come from a converted bus is never ending. We took an "RV" a bit less convenient than yours from Ashville, NC to Rothbury, MI and back one week for a music Festival and that is easily one of my favorite things I have done in my life time. Cool bus, but doesn't it get a bit lonely with no constants as far as people surrounding you is concerned?

Not a bit, I can come and go and do as I please, and anytime I don't care for the neighbors, I fire it up and move. Been divorced 3 times, now I enjoy the peace and quiet.

Thanks ga! I enjoy the stares I get while on the road. A couple guys stopped me one day while fueling-up and ask "what it that", meaning the bus, they thought I was a storm chaser because of the cameras.....shoulda seen their faces when I told them I was SWAT Team Rofl I could only keep a straight face for about 5 seconds before I told them I was kidding.

Nice work. I'd love to know more about it and see all the pics. It sounds like you spent some time planning it and building it.

Thanks! I have way too many pics (hundreds) to post them all, if there's something more specific you want to see (or ask) let me know, I'll be happy to post pics/answer. Yes, I spent over a year planning and drawing floor plans in an effort to keep things balanced (like 75 gallons of fresh water on one side and 600 pounds of AGM batteries for Solar on the other), all the plumbing on the same side (so none of it had to cross over or be exposed to cold in the event I was stuck in freezing temps), as well as researching/learning/designing the PV Solar set-up. Actual build time was about 6 months, but I had the advantage of having a place to do it inside (so weather wasn't a factor).
