I think it is better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

I understand the rules of the Corps, but I would rather have to argue with them on why I shot someone trying to do harm to me or my property than not have one and only hope they were interested in doing harm to my property only.

I carry everywhere I go, on land or water. Have a S&W Air Weight that fits perfectly in my pocket or in the pocket of my PFD.
I fish out of a kayak a good bit and launch in some out of the way places in the marsh and along bayous and rivers. Only once
have I had to reveal it to a couple of guys that were fooling with my truck when I came back to where I had launched from. I am
convinced that it was enough of a deterrent to convince them to move on. I had it in the front pocket of my PFD, when I got of the kayak
and walked up to them, I took my PFD off and unsnapped the pocket and pulled out my "piece". One of them said, "interesting". They looked
at each other, nodded, got in their truck and drove off. I am like the other guy....never leave home with out it (or them)...always have the
Air Weight in my pocket and a GLOCK in my truck that is easily accessible. Better to be safe than sorry.

Exactly. I don't have a pistol, but over the years I've had a couple of instances where I should have had one onboard.

if you made it back alive with out being stabbed or shot you never needed it......its not a theft deterent device, or a argument stopper.......its for a life and death situation......BUT every legal citizen should have one to carry

I'm not giving up. I think we need to turn Chicago into its own state and see how long it takes before total caos takes over. Im tired of 3 counties trying to dictate how the rest of this state operates. The entire rest of the state is Republican, however due to the massive liberal media and massive population the the northwest corner (Chicago) they end up winning the election. And now you know why Illinois is so currupt.
