According to what you've said you can't do the first three, scroll down to: None of the above options worked. What do I do now?

Guys I need some help if any of you have experienced this. Someone hacked my email and sent out a request for money due to me being ill and stranded in Cyprus. Hopefully no one on my email list falls for the scam.
Here is the bad part. I went in and changed my password but this dude has hijacked my email site and everything is in arabic. It show Saudi Arabia as the locale and any attempt I make to change it is immediately overriden and stays in Arabic so I am stuck at the moment. I have contacted Micorsoft for help so maybe they can assist.
In the meantime if any of you have been through this and fixed it please tell me how you did it. I was using Hotmail as my email provider. I have changed my profile on this site to an alternate email so I can follow any updates to this thread.
Hope someone can help me.
Thanks,
SeaRay

Ive had this happen before.. its only a waiting game!
May not have been hacked, but spoofed
Email spoofing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Got an email from a buddy a couple weeks ago, I could tell he didn't send it, so I called him, sure enough, same deal. Send an email to all your contacts, letting them know what's happened.
I just had my Yahoo, Verizon, and Facebook attacked, along with my wife's Verizon, and Facebook. I had to call Verizon to get my acct restored, made several attempts on Yahoo before getting that, THEN once Verizon was restored I was able to get Facebook back online. You'll probably have to send a password reset which will send a request to your secondary acct you used as backup.

Experienced the same thing with Verizon & Gmail. Purchased an account with Reagan.com and no longer
have any problems. Most "free" email accounts are open for easy hacking and they sell your info to vendors
for profit. My new account does "not" sell or monitor my account. Free to you means free to steal for others.
Yep, I still use Verizon even though they have tons of spam and they can't seem to fix my problem and they
don't want me to change my email address..............what does that tell you?
My Gmail account is free and I had to close my account and opened another one, since it was free. Solved
my Gmail spam problem. I go to the top of my search engine page and click on "tools" and delete my search
history everytime I get on the web. I believe it helps. Just my experience, just sharin'.

Because Hotmail is a Microsoft product the "help" sections only lists the Microsoft solution. When my account was hacked I first had to find the infected computer. Because the messages were only being send when the system was restarting I shut them all down and turned them back on one at a time. When I was able to find the correct machine I ran the suggested solution (updated with the latest database) and nothing was found. Then I ran Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (I'm not going to post a link 'cause I wouldn't follow one so don't expect anyone else too, just google it). This found and deleted the trojan and seems to have stopped the problem.
I have added both programs to all my computers as well as SUPERAntiSpyware. Best of all, all the programs are free.
Finally Fixed!!!
I finally figured out a way around this dude's hacking my email. First off he had my e-mail forwared to him so I was not getting any e-mails. Second thing was he had overridden my setup and had everything displaying in Arabic.
How I fixed:
My wife uses Hotmail on her PC, so I put her PC beside mine and logged on to her account on her PC. I was able to replicate my keystokes from her PC to mine even though I could not read any of the screen. I managed to get the language changed to english and then removed the forwarding and once again reset my password. All my contacts had been deleted, but Hotmail has a feature that lets you restore deleted contacts and I was able to recover all of them. Was not looking forward to typing in 250 contacts one by one.
Only thing I can't recover is the emails he hi-jacked from Friday PM until Sunday when I got it stopped.
It appears he was in Saudi Arabia and if he know whats good for him, he will stay there.
