    Smile Wanna go fishing....

Last year some time, I was feeling kind poorly one evening. I thought maybe I'd go fishing to make me feel a bit better.
When I got the boat in the water, I realized I was in over my head. I was plumb outta gas!

I was too tired to put the boat back on the trailer, and too tired to walk back up to the Pickup.
A couple of young guys helped me out. Got my pickup, loaded up the boat. I drove it up to the parking lot, and I rested in the truck awhile before heading on back home.
Next morning we went to the E-Room with a blood clot in my leg.
That was a nightmare...all of it, for months.

Now finally after a year of rehab and all that "etc" I'm ready to go fishing again. Or at least I want to go fishing so bad, I've convinced myself I'm OK to go fishing by myself.
But my Wife reminds me of what happened the last time I went fishing.
I'm wondering if there is such a thing as a "Dry Run" to the Ramp?

    I don't know what's next for me.
Taking a lawn chair down to the lake bank?
I'd rather have a recliner in a small Row boat.
Somebody near me better take me fishing soon.

You guys in Bama heard the man, help get him out for a day! Even if it's for an hour or two, I'm sure there are plenty of us out there that would want someone to help us out if we were in the same boat...(pun intended).

I'd like to see a guide in his area give him at least a half day on the water at no charge.

Good luck Thud! I'd be more than happy to let you enjoy a day.

Some old Fart in the same boat as me would be fine. A guide would be nice, but those guys need to be making money.
I just wish I could be better at fishing. Or maybe luckier!:D

Some do well enough to be able to need a write off as well.
