Today, Saturday, February 25th, 2012, my sister in law went to LSU in Baton Rouge to attend the 25th Annual Saltwater Fishing Symposium with George Poveromo and Louisiana coast saltwater captains from the entire coast. The first person to speak was the president of the Louisiana Coastal Conservation Association. He spoke of the association and their efforts. He mentioned the amount of members, compared to the amount of sports fisherman. Made everyone present want to join. This association was responsible for banning fishing nets in the 90's, to preserve certain species of fish. He complimented Bobby Jindal's attempt too assist fisherman. She said that he mentioned this to present federal administration (Obama).That they are trying to band sports fishing. Needless to say, the majority of those present joined the association, including my sister in law.
