My sister passed away last evening. She had suffered a massive stroke on Saturday and today they did a cat scan and found she had several large areas of blood on the brain. The most serious was around the brain stem. After talking with the specialist and surgeons and in accordance with her wishes we had the ventilator removed this evening and she passed away peacefully. Please say a prayer for her daughter that is taking this very hard. This was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. EB
