Default best Christmas I can remember

my son wanted a shotgun for Christmas so he could skeet/clay shoot with me...I kept telling him we didnt have enough $$ to buy him one this year, he would say "thats ok dad, thats not what its about anyway"....truth be know I had all ready bought it :D, $$ wasnt an issue I just didnt want him to think he was getting one....his responce for a 10 year old amazed me....any way needless to say he almost cried when he un-wrapped it...and made me go out in the snow to shoot it a few time . we hung a few skeets on the ole wood pile and let him fire away....heres a few pics. hope every one had a great Christmas, God bless all Name: 006.jpg

Sweet! Who's pickin the lead out of the firewood? Is that an 870? My son got a .22 with a scope and couldn't wait to shoot it. Guns make great Christmas gifts and passing on hunting and fishin to the little ones is awsome.

Makes me remember my best Christmas...my dad gave me a single shot 410 shotgun. We went up to grandpa's the next day so I could hunt rabbits with my dad, grandpa, and my uncles. I was hunting with the "big guys"! Best memories!!!!!

Seems like only yesterday buying my son his first shotgun (the one I bought and restored before he was ever born isnt the one I'm talking about:rolleyes::D) It was a Rem. 870 in 20 ga. and he still shoots that gun today. Looks like you and your son was having a good time out shooting the gun. Congrats to you both.

    What an awesome kid!

My boys said this year "was the best Christmas ever". And it had nothing to do with getting gifts. They got sit at home Christmas day and enjoy their presents for once.
