I remeber whe deisel use to be a lot cheaper then gas. That's when the only one's using it were truckers and busses.
THe same with pickup's you never used to see women driveing pickups. the only folks that had one were usally the farmers. Now everyone has one and driving the prices up on them as well.
Hopefully in about about a week or so gas prices will start dropping. After all this isn't the first storm that's been in the Gulf.
The Oil company's just using them as an excuse to raise prices.

I'm grateful I use a heat pump for heat. I feel sorry for the folks the use fuel oil. Its going to put a hurtin on them this winter.

No doubt electric will go up along with everything else in the country. I heard the 18 wheelers were hollering Can't blame them.

A customer was in the store raising XXX with me about the grocery prices like I told him fuel has gone up . He said he can't eat gas though. I then proceeded to tell him that fuel is how the items get to the store so if fuel goes up so does everything else.

I heat with wood so I'm lucky there chain saws gased up and ready to go just waiting for some cooler weather to start cutting.
