I 269 bypass around Memphis Is complete. You could exit interstate 40 at Arlington Tennessee and go to Hernando Mississippi without going through Memphis. Nice highway.

Were proud of it, anytime you can bypass Memphis it's a plus. It will actually carry you over to Hwy. 61 / Robinsonville just a mile or two north of the casino's. Now if they would build a bridge there across the river there I could be at Horseshoe lake in little over an hour. Boy the things we could have in this country if it wasn't for having to feed and house the resident deadbeats or shipping more in by the boatload everyday!Quote:

I go to Tunica and spend the night when I have VA appointments. Lots easier drive from Tunica to VA than from home which is 150 miles from VA. This bypass makes for a pleasant drive.
