I had cataract surgery at ages 45 and 48, an earlier age than most. Eye doc said mainly genetic but exacerbated by prolonged exposure to Reflected Light from FISHING. I sporadically wore sunglasses while pursuing our finned friends but now rarely forget to put them on. After having both eyes surgically corrected the only downside I have found is the need for reading glasses, as both eyes are 20/20 for distance but not for reading posts on Crappie.com. I opted for the basic replacement lens and am forever tethered to a pair of reading glasses. Walmart is the answer to that problem, I think I am on my third “3” pack of +1.5 readers.
