Sorry for your loss I just came home and was missing my little friend hat we lost recently. God’s strength to you
So far three things are still hard for me to face. When we walk in she would be so excited to see us, when we asked her if she wanted a snack, she would run to the cupboard and howl like a little wolf and not kissing her goodnight and telling her daddy loves her is the toughest. Last thing I did every night. I appreciate all the thoughts and feel for each of you as well. I am still subject to burst into tears, but I know God will help me. We went and looked at Christmas lights by the lake a while ago. That was tough because I told her Tuesday night I would take her when she felt better. She loved to ride in my truck anytime. That was tough and I made it by praying if there is a doggy heaven, she was watching. Thanks fellows, I know I am long winded, but writing my thoughts is therapeutic for me. Thanks, DannyQuote:

I feel your pain Danny. I lost one in 2005 and his name still slips out out my mouth when I call my current fur baby. I pray for your pain to ease.

We come to truly realize the depths the roots of our affection run at times of loss. So many miss the opportunity for such by not taking the chance of having such a wonderful companion. Your family and Tuie were fortunate to find each other. Praying for your family during this time, good that you have Sadie.
