BTW, I have a map you can use. You can also buy one at the local bait shop just down by the motel. Good bait and advise there.

Henrys Cabins are not advertised,,, it is on spillway road before the airport 318-548-0276 --- it has private launch and deep water just off the bank,, with lots of flooded Trees. The boys that fished the ACT tourney last weekend said the fish are in 6 to 10 feet and Shinners tiped on jigs ruled the top 20 boats all had a fish over 2 pounds all caught in tember at that depth ==== the other cabins mentioned ,,, D'Arbonne Point --- the new location for all the Tourneyments and Mostly stayes booked now !!!!! there is one small duplex Cabin run by LUDWIG Marine, most folks think it is a storage for Lugwig but it is a rental cabin
There is Beside Ludwig Marine On the edge of the lake----- Crawfish --- Cooked the right way -- $4 a pound and all the Fixings
Boy it's sounding better and better!

Mr watt Come over and fish---- we can go test all the Fixings over a platter of Crawfish --- They do not dump spice on top -- those I talked to said they were Perfect... I was at the Weigh in Pumping for Information and said one day I would find out.. there were dozens of Folks sitting by the lake eating Mud bugs with Big smiles
Bro and I are ready to Remove the Jigs and rig up for Cats again, We use a hook similar to a cricket hook with a long shank, small weight clamped above the Line fish streight under the Boat. Both of us use 3 Poles about 10 ft long fishing a few inches above the Bottom with Pieces of Canadian Crawlers --- With the New Chain Drag line, it will be easier positioning the Boat on the Channel Edge - Bro is getting some Exercise planting Seeds and wrestling with a tiller
Well the day has come! I'll be down there at about 6 am.. gonna leave about midnight.. hope this cool spell don't hurt the bite, if it's been much of one!
