Man Scott, I would have liked to have gone but I was on vacation and didn't get home until Sunday night. I did get to see The Charlie Daniels Band play at the Grand Ole Opry though, so I'm not jealous of you! lol

Well...this is pretty far off the fishing topic, but...I have 4 extra tickets to the concert at 7 pm Friday. With the mad rush when they went on sale, I bought some extras thinking my family/friends might have a hard time getting some...then they added 2 more shows! So...My wife and I will be in Section 218 Row M, seats 1-2, and I have seats 3-6 available if anyone is interested. I paid a little over $300, and would just like to get back what I paid for them. Let me know if anyone is interested.

I managed to sell the tickets, but took a loss on them. When they added more shows, they saturated the city with tickets, so there were even some open seats at the first show on Friday. He did put on a great show though! Everyone that I've heard from really enjoyed it. Trisha sang some songs, and he had 2 openers as well. Garth mainly played his older most popular songs so the crowd was loud and rowdy!
Glad you got to enjoy his show, and being at the Grand Ole Opry had to be cool! So much history in that place, it's amazing. Tammy bought me tickets to see Charlie Daniels once in Tyler, TX because I've always enjoyed his music. But there was a group of rednecks there that were so obnoxious, that we decided to leave shortly after he started playing. I've got nothing against anyone having fun, but spilling beer on everything, stomping boots so loud you can't hear the music...walking back and forth over the bleachers between people...got to be a bit much. Maybe I'll catch CD another time.
