    Default Trailor Lighting Question?

I have an 18' Triton sitting on an aluminum trailer. I am thinking of rewiring it the old country boy way. Just tie wrapping a good extension cord along the trailer to the back that way its external easy to maintain and rugged stuff. Question is do I hafta have the lil yellow side lights?? Is it a law or something? Would reflector tape suffice. They are extra connections and cause most of my trouble I'd happily just run the wire right past ém.

You don't have to have the yellow running lights Cappy. If it were me, I'd solder all connections to the lights and double shrink wrap them. Make sure they're tight.

I have the yellow lights on my 19 ft Triton with a painted trailer.....and I also added the reflective tape all around including at the top of the PVC guide posts.....I had mine rewired recently at the trailer place here in BR.....don't remember the cost but it was not to expensive.....

Cappy I don't think you have to have them but if they are there they have to be working.
