Default Decided to give garlic a try

We took one of our old garden beds and turned it into what will hopefully be a galic patch. Here is tie story:

Good blog Cappy. I grew up with garlic growing along the fence line at Mom's. We use garlic in almost anything except dessert. You may already know, but once you start pulling it up, the tiny pods on the outside of the larger ones will most times fall off, and start another plant for the next round. You may have that box dedicated to garlic year after year without lifting a finger to replant. LOL. But they say it's good for what ails ya!

We've also got one of those monster rosemary bushes. It was there when we bought the house, and just seems to spread constantly. We don't mind though and have given some away to a number of people. Hopefully it sticks around for a while.

Glad you liked the story man. The rosemary was way too big and took over the lil box so we tried transplanting it. put it in too much shade and it didnt like that. We tried a new one in Peggy's shade garden but the squash choked it out again I think blocking too much sun.

Ours is right next to the driveway and backs up to a small tree. Big tree on the opposite side of the driveway gives shade too when the sun moves past the high point. I guess it gets enough sun though. Hope you find the sweet spot for yours.
