Love it Bruce, had ours fired up for a while now. Heats the room nicely and quick. Yours truly will enjoy it while watching Mary Poppins on the network television this evening. I likes such things.

For this holiday season, I'd like to make a really good eggnog. Haven't a clue how to do that. Something that bites without being too rich.

How can Larry the Cable Guy "own" the saying GIT R DONE....I've heard that since I was a kid and probably said it a couple hundred times myself long before LCG ever was on the charts....love the LCG like a lost brother but ain't noway he can lay claim to a sayin he's heard and it's probably been around long before he was born....

For this holiday season, I'd like to make a really good eggnog. Haven't a clue how to do that. Something that bites without being too rich.

Randy, my Mom used to make one from scratch using raw egss, milk, and vanilla extract. No alcohol but it was good at Christmas time. I'll see if I can find the recipe.
Went to a restaurant in my wife's hometown yesterday and saw this sign. Made me think of you guys that live out in the country.

Well, Randy put Egg Nog in my head so I had to have some. This is store bought with a shot of whiskey and a dask of nutmeg.
Couldn't find Mom's recipe but Googled "homemade egg nog" and we think the ones on line using raw eggs, milk, and vanilla are pretty close to how Mom made it.
