I'm with Randy I think that looks great. Sit on the porch in a rocker during a rain storm, does not get much better. Keep us posted on your progress.

Best of luck to you both. I would like to see the house plans.

Been working on ideas for some time and finally nailed it down to this. Contractor has been building metal homes for a long time and
he approved my ideas and said he could build it complete for 150K. All we have to do is move the furniture in. The exterior will be trimmed
with cedar wood and rock. Anyone want to estimate the sq. footage on the living space?
Only about 5 miles from our current home, same county and lots of deer & turkey.

Came up with 2030 also. That is assuming that the ATV and zero turn area is 10 x 10. Are you going to put a small garage/access door for the ATV and zero turn area?
It is not what you do for your children, but what you have taught them to do for themselves, that will make them successful human beings.

Nice RR. I like your idea of plenty of showers at an older age. I have got where I don't like stepping over into a tub shower combo myself.

Yes, I measured the zero turn and ATV but decided to leave them open in the garage. Wife's car is short enough to allow me to get in and out of the garage without having
to move her car to get the zero turn or ATV out to play. 10' X 10' area seemed ample for my driving skills.

Very efficient use with the square footage by eliminating hallways, nice Joe. I did the same thing.
